Meet The L.B.B.S Team

A Team Passionate About Theatre & Dance!...

All our teachers/staff are fully insured and DBS/CRB checked and have a strong dance/theatre background. As a school that is specialising in boys ballet training, we ensure a good mix of both male and female teachers.

James Anthony Cunliffe - Founder & Director

James has been involved in theatre and the performing arts from a very young age and presently owns several theatre schools and other related businesses in South Wales and in the London region. James has worked within the primary education sector and has a large amount of experience working with children as a teacher, coach and other supporting roles.

The success of Counterpointe theatre arts in Swansea has allowed James to expand and provide so many more youngsters with the support, high quality training and encouragement they deserve.

James continues to run the South Wales school whilst now living in the London area and is very passionate about this project.

James recognsied the lack of support for male dancers across the UK, even in the large cities such as London, and wanted to provide a new kind of school... Having spoken to many young men and proffesional male dancers, James decided to meet the challenge and set up a boys only dance school in London.

James who has several Boys Ballet Ltd. branches opening across the UK (Wales, England and Scotland). He is determined to change the discouraging image of boys and young men in the dancing world!
