We are the first and only boys Ballet school in the UK and are proud to be supporting young male students that wish to dance. Boys that train with us will learn alongside other peers of similiar ages and abilities and will have the full support of the school and their teacher to progress their dance in a safe and fun environment.

All our teachers are well experienced in the dancing world. Whether Ballet is chosen as a hobby or perhaps as a future career, we will ensure to work with parents and pupils to help achieve desired goals.

London Boys Ballet School Patron

Alexander Loxton

(Our School Patron)

Plays 'Older Billy' at Billy Elliot London

"I believe that its vitally important for young men to have the opportunity to find a way to express themselves artistically and classical ballet is something that can offer that means of expression. Throughout the years I have been able to gain a great deal from a career in ballet and have had the opportunity to experience things that I may not have been able to do if I hadn't pursued a career as a dancer. I am therefore delighted and honored to act as a patron for the London Boys Ballet school"

About Alex Loxton

Alexander Loxton was born and raised in Birmingham, England and received his professional training at The Royal Ballet Upper School. During this time he frequently performed with The Royal Ballet Company, danced at Buckingham Palace and was a finalist at the Young British Dancer of the Year Competition. At 19 he joined The Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam and after dancing with the company for several years he began performing as a guest artist internationally. On returning to London he accepted a position with the male contemporary dance company BalletBoyz performing his premiere at Fall for Dance Festival in New York City. His repertoire includes: The Nutcracker, La Bayadere, Onegin, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Jarek Cemerek’s Void, Don Giovanni, Etudes, Giselle, Sheherezade, George, Balanchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Krzysztof Pastor’s Dumbarton Dances, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Theme and Variations, Nijinsky (Dancer, Clown, God), Benjamin Millepied’s One Thing Leads To Another, John Neumeier’s Sylvia. He presently plays 'Older Billy' in the west end musical Billy Elliot. We are very honoured to have Alex as one of our school patrons! Thank you Alex!
