SCHOOL DIRECTOR

JAMES CUNLIFFE 

James has been involved in theatre and the performing arts from a very young age and presently owns a variety of theatre schools and other related businesses in London and South Wales.

​

James trained in vocational Ballet following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and has worked in the Early Years & primary education sector. James has extensive experience working with children as teacher, coach and other supporting roles.

​

The founder of the Worlds first male-focussed Ballet School, James' unique schools and innovative ideas have seen a great deal of national media coverage, (BBC, Telegraph, Independent, Evening Standard, Daily Mail, Newsround, BBC Radio, Classic FM, The Stage  etc.).  Many of these school projects have received the 'Dance School of the Year Innovation Award' from Anne Walker MBE.  The judges were Jonathan Gray, (Dancing Times), and Angela Rippon OBE, (TV presenter). 
 

James is well connected with a variety of dance industry professionals, dance schools, arts colleges and associations.  James has a passion for innovative arts technology / FX and is always striving to make 'LBBS Global' a unique and effective experience and community.

HEAD OF LBBS GLOBAL TEACHING

TIMOTHY CLARKE (RAD BALLET EXAMINER & TEACHER)

Inspired by his sister, Tim started dancing at local schools at 6 years of age. 

After graduating from Arts Educational School London, Tim began a varied professional dancing career performing in Ballet companies, West End musicals, Royal Variety shows, Olympic Games opening ceremony in London, dancing throughout Europe and in New York.

​

After gaining all his teaching qualifications with the Royal Academy of Dance and The Imperial Society, Tim taught at various schools including: Italia Conti Academy, Brit School, Royal Ballet School Junior Associates, Mountview Academy etc.

​

Tim has been teaching on the 'LBBS Global' platform since 2019 and continues to work closely with the school Director James to ensure the best online experience for all dancing students.

​

Timothy is an active Ballet examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance.

GIACOMO CIRIARCI (EX-ROYAL BALLET)

​

Giacomo Ciriaci used to be a Soloist Dancer with The Royal Ballet.

 

In 2008, after 17 years with the company, he stopped dancing and became an Advanced Personal Trainer. He has trained many dancers including soloist and principals from The Royal Ballet and English National Ballet and he teaches Strengthening and Conditioning at The Royal Ballet School (since September 2010).

​

Giacomo was a guest speaker at the 2016 Sports Injuries Conference for The Royal Society of Medicine.

COVER BALLET TEACHER

JOEL MORRIS (ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE, PDTD)

​

Joel has been a professional ballet dancer for over 15 years and has performed many principal and soloist roles globally, also in London's West End in musicals such as CATS.

 

Joel is a qualified RAD ballet teacher, choreographer and also teaches at the Royal Ballet School, Royal Academy of Dance, Urdang, London Studios etc.

COVER BALLET TEACHER

PAUL DOYLE (ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE EXAMINER)

Mr Paul Doyle (Cover Ballet Teacher) Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance LISTD, DDE

Paul Doyle is currently the only Irish representative on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) panel of examiners.  He was recently appointed as Lecturer in Dance Education for the Royal Academy of Dance Faculty of Education from May 2018 he will be the Programme Manager for our global teaching qualification the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies.  He is a fully qualified RAD teacher as well as holding Licentiate status with the Imperial Society of teachers of Dance (ISTD).  Paul also tutors registered teachers on the RAD CPD scheme. He is currently studying with University of Roehampton for an Msc Exercise and Sport Science.  His dance training began at the Wexford School of Ballet and Modern Dance 20 years ago. During his time spent training at the school he partook in many school shows and many local amateur productions; he also completed ISTD Exams.

 

Panel of Examiners for the RAD / Lecturer in Dance Studies at for the faculty of Education of the RAD / Continuous Professional Development Ambassador for Ireland for the RAD / Tutor for the RAD Continuous Professional Development scheme / Licentiate Status with the ISTD / Tutor on the CBTS teacher program.

COVER BALLET TEACHER

DAVID MURLEY (ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE TEACHER - PDTD)

Mr David Murley (Ballet Teacher) Royal Academy of Dance PDTDgraduate of London Studio Centre, David worked professionally for 17 years before becoming a qualified teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance.

 

He has performed with the Royal Opera, English National Opera, Glyndebourne Opera, Grange Park Opera and The Dallas Opera.

 

Working in opera gave David the opportunity to work with Sir David McVicar and Sir Jonathan Miller on numerous occasions. David has also done film, body double work and toured nationally and internationally.

 

David has also assisted choreographer Lynne Hockney and was once Artistic Director of his own dance company

COVER BALLET TEACHER

MICHAEL RAYNAUD (EX-PARIS BALLET / RAD DANCE TEACHER)

Michaël began his formal training at The Paris Opera Ballet School at the age of ten for six years and went on to train at the National Conservatoire in Paris, where he gained his Baccalauréat in Arts and Dance and Unités de Valeurs in anatomy , ballet history and music. 

 

On completing his training Michael joined the English National Ballet for their worldwide tour of Swan Lake then became a permanent member of the company.

 

Michael has taught ballet classes, workshops and summer schools across the country to students of all ages and backgrounds. He also helped young ice skaters with ballet training to aid their choreography for international competitions.

 

Wishing to continue further with his teaching Michael enrolled on the Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma programme with the Royal Academy of Dance.
